Following the 1st Non-Resident Nepali (NRN) North America Knowledge Convention 2018 in San Francisco, USA, the Non-Resident Nepali Association International Coordination Council (NRNA-ICC) North America is organizing the Regional Meeting and second Knowledge Convention on 04-06 September 2020 in Toronto, Canada.
This convention aims to build a collaborative network of professionals and skillful experts from different Nepali diaspora sectors in the Americas and important stakeholders in Nepal.
The convention also aims to exchange knowledge, experience, skills, values, and opportunities to strengthen science and technology, human resources, entrepreneurship, policies, and practices in both regions.
The convention will mainly focus on sharing three transferable aspects: the knowledge, skills, and values to meet its objectives and goals. In the current and post COVID-19 pandemic context, the convention will discuss and identify new tools and techniques for practical knowledge sharing among all stakeholders.
The convention has reached out and connected with Innovators, Scientific Communities, Academicians, Government of Nepal including Ministry of Education, Science & Technology, National Planning Commission, Nepal Academy of Science and Technology, Universities, Alumni Association, Research Centers, International Organizations, Private Sectors, Industries, Startups and Knowledge Incubators to explore the areas of co-creation, collaboration, and partnerships.
Amid the current pandemic crisis, the convention will be organized in an online model and will be held via a zoom webinar.
